Nosara Surf Camp - Liability Waiver and Release of Liability

WARNING: SURFING IS A DANGEROUS ACTIVITY AND ANY OCEAN ACTIVITIES INHERIT RISKS. BY ENGAGING IN OCEAN-RELATED ACTIVITIES, THE PARTICIPANT ASSUMES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY—YOU MUST READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE SIGNING. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN THIS WAIVER.

Acknowledgment of Risk
I, the undersigned participant (or the parent/guardian of the minor participant), acknowledge that participating in surfing, swimming, and related activities at Loving Adventures Surf Camp involves inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to, risks associated with ocean currents, waves, marine life, weather conditions, physical exertion, and equipment use.

I understand that while Loving Adventures LLC takes reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety, it cannot guarantee freedom from injury, accidents, or other harm.

Release of Liability
I hereby release and hold harmless Loving Adventures LLC, its employees, agents, instructors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from my participation (or the participation of the minor child) in surf camp activities. This release includes but is not limited to claims related to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Medical Consent
I authorize Loving Adventures LLC to administer first aid and, if necessary, to secure medical treatment, including transportation to a medical facility, for myself (or the minor participant) in the event of an emergency. I agree to assume all associated costs of such treatment.

Photography and Media Release
I grant permission to Loving Adventures LLC to take photographs or videos of me (or the minor participant) during camp activities for promotional purposes, including use on websites, social media, and marketing materials.

If I do not agree to this, I will notify Loving Adventures LLC in writing prior to the start of the camp.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Costa Rica for matters arising out of activities conducted at the surf camp. For contractual disputes or issues directly involving Loving Adventures as a business entity, U.S. law shall apply, and such disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York, USA.

By checking this box and signing this release of liability and participating in any program or lesson provided by Loving Adventures LLC, I hereby fully and forever release and discharge indemnify and hold harmless Loving Adventures LLC, their instructors and coaches, the County/City/Town and their employees and agents, from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, damages, rights of action, suits or causes of action present of future, whether they same be known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of my participation of said programs and lessons and use or intended use of said equipment. I fully and forever release and discharge Loving Adventures LLC, its instructors, and their employees and agents from any and all negligent acts and omissions in the same, and intend to be legally bound by this release.

If the participant is under 18, this release must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.
